All the food at our food bank is donated by members of our community.

Every year we help folk who are facing really difficult circumstances. The food you donate is a practical support and shows our visitors that they are not alone.

There are collection points at many places of worship in Bushey, St Peters, Bushey Baptist and St Matthews to name a few. We also have a collection box at Bushey Dry Cleaners, BEnjamin Stevens and Bushey Grove Leisure Centre. At present, food can be dropped off between 4pm and 6pm at The Phoenix Centre, 4 Farrington Avenue, and there are regular community collections. Please see our Facebook page for updates.

We are grateful for donations of:

  • Tins: Meat & fish; vegetables; vegetarian and meat meals; fruit, puddings and custard; baked beans and pulses, soup

  • Jars: Pasta sauce, other cook-in sauces,

  • Packets: Rice, pasta, instant noodles, breakfast cereal, porridge, sugar, biscuits

  • Drinks: Tea and coffee, long life milk, long life fruit juice

  • Other: Toilet roll, sanitary products, nappies, washing up liquid, toothpaste.
